My journey is one defined by a deep-seated curiosity and a passion for craft, rooted in a distinguished career of nearly 30 years in software development. In senior roles at companies like Adobe, I designed and owned numerous software products, authored two books on technology, and honed a meticulous approach to detail. In 2014, I channelled this lifelong drive for precision and creativity, transitioning from the world of code to pursue photography full-time and dedicate my work to capturing nature’s small wonders.

Today, as a New Delhi-based photographer, my focus is on revealing the intricate beauty of the macro world. This passion has led to international recognition, including a Flickr World Top 50 nomination in 2018 and the 'Guru of Gurus' title at GuruShots in 2018. My writing has been published in outlets like PetaPixel, while my images have appeared in newspapers such as The Times and Mirror, as well as in museum exhibits and books.

The spirit of sharing knowledge has always been part of my DNA, dating back to when I ran the popular The Solutions! BBS for over five years. Today, I continue this commitment by helping the photography community grow through workshops, educational videos, and photowalks.

This dedication to community and craft led naturally to my role as an OM SYSTEM Ambassador, where I champion the gear that empowers my own work. The system’s compact size and powerful macro capabilities allow me to focus purely on the creative moment.
